Green LED lights up without battery inser-
ted: Charger is ready.
Green LED lights up: Battery is charged.
Red LED lights up: Battery charging.
Red LED flashes:Battery­overheated
Red + green LEDs flash: Battery­defective
Note­the­label­on­the­device­itself­for­
the­LED­display­on­the­smart­charger.
Selecting the speed
The­tool­has­6­speed­levels­that­you­can­
set­using­the­soft­button­(11)­for­speed­le-
vel­selection.
The­current­level­lights­up­on­the­display­(9).
Switching on and off
Switching on
1.­ Press­the­switch­lock­(10)­once.­The­two­
LEDs­of­the­charge­level­indicator­(8)­
light up.
2.­ Press­the­On/off­switch­(12)­twice­in­
succession.
Switching off
1.­ Press­the­on/off­switch­(12).
You can also use the On/Off switch
(12)­as a pushbutton. Press the
switch­lock­(10)­once­and­then­press­and­
hold the on/off switch­(12).
The­tool­runs­until­you­let­go­of­the­On/Off­
switch­(12)­again.
After switching on, wait until the tool has
reached its max. speed. Only then should
you start with the work.
The tool still runs even after
the device has been switched
off. There is a risk of injury.
If the wheel is blocked for
longer than approx. 4 se-
conds, the current speed level fla-
shes. The tool must be switched off
and switched on again. If blocked
for less than that, the wheel starts
back up automatically.
If­you­press­the­switch­lock­(10)­
again­after­the­first­unlocking,­the­
LEDs­of­the­charge­level­indicator­(8)­go­
out­again.­The­tool­cannot­be­put­into­ope-
ration.
Trial run: Always carry out a trial run
without a load before carrying out your
first­procedure­as­well­as­after­every­tool­
change. Switch the tool off immediately
if the tool is not rotating smoothly, if con-
siderable­vibration­occurs,­or­if­you­hear­
abnormal noises.
Connecting the device
to the Parkside app
Only Smart Performance batteries
can be connected to the Parkside
app.­The­device­connects­to­the­app­via­
the battery.
