sawing,­the­bottom­guard­cover­should­
work automatically.
d) Do not place the saw on the work
bench or the floor if the bottom guard
cover is not covering the saw blade. An
unprotected saw blade that is still run-
ning­will­move­the­saw­in­the­direction­
opposite of the cutting direction and cut
whatever­is­in­its­way.­Pay­attention­to­
how long the saw blade remains run-
ning.

This­information­on­the­saw blade complies
with­standard­DIN­EN­847-1:2017.
The­tool­may­only­be­used­by­
trained, experienced people who
know how to handle tools.
Safe working
•­ The­maximum­speed­stated­on­the­tool­
must not be exceeded. If indicated, the
speed range must be complied with.
•­ Circular­saw­blades­with­cracks­in­
them­must­be­taken­out­of­service­(re-
pair­is­not­permitted).
•­ Tools­with­visible­cracks­must­not­be­
used.
•­ Tools­must­be­cleaned­regularly.
•­ Tool­parts­made­of­light­metal­alloys,­
e.g. resin, may only be cleaned with
solvents­that­do­not­impair­the­mechani-
cal properties of these materials.
•­ Tools­and­tool­bodies­must­be­tightened­
in such a way that they cannot become
loose during operation. Please note the
information on assembly.

Tighten­the­clamping­screw­holding­the­
saw blade in place hand-tight using the
enclosed hex key.
•­ Extending­a­spanner­or­tightening­with­
the help of hammer blows is not permit-
ted.
•­ The­tightening­surfaces­on­the­saw­
blade­must­be­cleaned­to­remove­any­
dirt, grease, oil and water.
• Use original spare parts from the manu-
facturer to ensure safe use, see the sec-
tion­"Spare­parts/accessories".
•­ Maintenance­work­and­modifications­
to circular saw blades should only be
performed by a professional, i.e. a per-
son with specialist training and experi-
ence who is familiar with the design
requirements and the necessary safety
steps.
Cleaning
•­ Remove­any­dirt,­such­as­resin,­from­
the­saw­blade­using­only­solvents­that­
do not impair the mechanical proper-
ties of the saw blade.
•­ Try­to­clean­resinous­surfaces­with­a­
damp, lukewarm cloth that has been
wrung­out­well.­Make­sure­that­no­
liquids can get into the interior of the
housing!
Alternatively,­you­can­use­a­special­
cleaner­(resin­solvent)­or­multispray.­
Please take notice of the safety informa-
tion­and­instructions­provided­by­the­
manufacturer­of­the­special­cleaner/
multispray.
Maintenance
•­ Check­the­saw­blade­for­obvious­de-
fects after each use and replace a blunt
or bent blade or one which has been
damaged in some other way.
