Regarding place for installation
Consult w ith your dealer for details on installation and transferring th e installation.
Caution:
Never install the air conditioner here there is a ris of lea age of flammable gas.
If gas lea s and accumulates around the unit, fire can result.
Never install the air conditioner at the following place:

near th e ocean and beach areas w h ere th ere is salt air
•
w h ere h umidity is h igh
•
w h ere th ere are h ot springs nearby
•
w h ere th ere is sulph urous gas
•
w h ere th ere is a h igh -frequency processing mach inery (a h igh -frequency w elder,
etc.)
•
w h ere acid solution is frequently used
•
w h ere special sprays are frequently used
Install th e indoor unit h orizontally. Oth erw ise, w ater leakage can result.
Take sufficient measures against noise hen installing the air conditioners at hospitals
or communication-related businesses.
If th e air conditioner is used in any of th e above-mentioned environments, frequent
operational failure can be expected. It is advisable to avoid th ese types of installation
sites.

Regarding electrical work
Caution:

If any alien obj ect is placed near th e outdoor air outlet of th e air conditioner,
decreased performance and increased noise can result. Avoid placing any
obstacles adj acent to th e air outlet.

If th e air conditioner produces any abnormal sound, consult w ith your dealer.
Maintenance and inspection

If th e air conditioner is used th rough out several seasons, th e insides can get dirty,
reducing th e performance.
Depending upon th e conditions of usage, foul odors can be generated and drainage
can deteriorate due to dust and dirt, etc.
