Using new call alert function
NEW CALL ALERT switch

The new call] alert will not work
if the call is "blocked" or made
through a telephone company
which does not offer Caller ID
service (see page 20).
This feature tells you with beeps if you have received any new calls
with Caller ID data during your absence. This is an audible reminder
to check your display to see who called and when.
Set the NEW CALL ALERT switch to ON.
If you receive a call with Caller ID data and you do not answer it, the
phone will start to beep.
@ To stop the beeps
¢ pick up the handset
* press DISPLAY
¢ or set the NEW CALL ALERT switch to OFF.
