MEASURING KILOCALORIES
• The applaince has the option to measure the
kilocalories of 14 different foods: fl our, sugar,
butter, egg, chocolate, chicken, meat, pasta,
rice, lamb, bacon, sausage, milk and cheese.
• To get it, you can weigh as explained before.
YOU MUST BEAR IN MIND
• Avoid exceeding the maximum capacity of
the scale (5 Kg.). If the maximum capacity is
exceeded the message "EEEE" will appear
on the display.
• You must proceed to change the battery when
the "Lo" symbol is showed on the display. To
do that, open the cover placed in the back
side of the appliance.
• Proceed to changing the battery having in
mind that "+" indication must be visible once
the battery is placed.
• Place the battery by pushing it in the arrow
direction to leave it correctly fi xed (Fig. 1).
• The scale is a sensible electronic instrument.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local
garbage regulations.
• Dispose the batteries according to the local
garbage regulations.
• Once the weight appears on the display, select
the food by pressing on
the display will show the kilocalories that
corresponds with the weighted food.
Some appliances of high
frequency as mobiles, radio
stations, remote controls
and microwaves, can cause
interferences if the scale is
used nearly of them. Keep
it far away of these points if
you notice irregularities on the display.
• The scale is not apt for commercial transactions
or medical purposes.
• Designed for domestic use only.
• Never throw away the appliance
or the batteries to the rubbish. So
you will help to the improvement
of the environment.
• The batteries must not be mixed
with other domestic residues.
