BLADE TRACKING ADJUSTMENT
Over time the blade may go "off track" - raise
too far above or drop well below the rim of the
pulley. Periodically check the blade alignment
on the pulley. If the blade is more than 1/8"
(3mm) above the rim of the pulley (Fig. 6) or
1/8" (3mm) below the rim (Fig. 7), the tracking
needs to be adjusted.
1. Use the socket wrench (included) to loosen

to adjust the blade tracking screw (Fig. 9).

with just one full turn of the tracking screw.
3. Set the speed dial to setting 1 (Fig. 1).
4. Connect plug to power source.
5. Pull the trigger and allow the blade to make
one complete turn.
6. Disconnect plug from power source.
7. Observe the height of the blade in relation
to the rim of the pulley. Repeat steps 2 and
5 until the blade is aligned.
8. Securely tighten the lock nut by turning the
socket wrench clockwise (Fig. 8).
NOTE: Only the driven pulley is adjustable
and affects the function of the whole
system.
