Switch off your device
If the device is to be turned off for a long time, the following precautions should
be taken to prevent mold growth.
1. Remove all food.
2. Disconnect the power supply.
3. Clean and dry the inside of the appliance thoroughly.
4. Make sure the doors are kept slightly open to allow air to circulate.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
For hygienic reasons, the device (including interior and exterior accessories) should
be cleaned regularly at least every two months.
Warning! The appliance should not be plugged into the mains while you are cleaning it.
Risk of electric shock! Before cleaning, turn off the appliance and unplug the power
supply.
Exterior cleaning
To keep it looking good, your device needs to be cleaned regularly.
• Wipe the digital panel and display panel with a soft, clean cloth.
• Spray water on the cloth rather than spraying directly on the surface of the device.
This helps to ensure a good distribution of the liquid on the surface.
• Clean the doors, handles, and cabinet surface with a neutral cleaner, then wipe dry
with a soft cloth.
Warning!
• Do not use sharp objects as they can scratch the surface.
• Do not use thinner, car detergent, clorox, abrasive cleaners, or organic solvents such
as Benzene. They can damage the surface of the appliance and present a risk of fire.
Interior cleaning
The interior of the appliance should be cleaned regularly. It will be easier to clean it
if it contains little food. Wipe down the interior walls of the refrigerator with a
weakly concentrated baking soda solution, then rinse in lukewarm water with a
wrung out sponge or cloth. Wipe until everything is dry before replacing shelves
and bins.
• Thoroughly dry all surfaces and removable parts.
• Although this appliance defrosts automatically, a layer of gel may develop on the
internal walls of the compartment.
