20. Installation
Setting up the appliance
Place the appliance in a well-ventilated and dry room.
The ambient temperature has an influence on the electricity consumption and the proper
function of the appliance.
IMPORTANT
The appliance should be stable and not wobble.

The mains power cable must never be pinched or covered.
The mains power cable must not reach a temperature exceeding the room
•
temperature by 50°C at any point.
A damaged mains supply cable may only be replaced by Technical Service.

If a built-in oven or any other heat-producing appliance is placed directly under
•
the glass ceramic hob, both appliances (oven and glass ceramic hob) must be
suitably insulated. The temperature generated by the oven, measured at the rear
right of the hob, must not exceed 60°C. Failure to observe this precaution could
lead to malfunctioning of the appliance.
Installation
IMPORTANT
This appliance should be installed by a qualified technician.

Ensure adequate ventilation during operation. Do not close the ventilation openings.
There must be air circulation underneath the appliance.

If the bottom of the appliance is accessible after installation in the underframe, a
partition must be installed, keeping the prescribed clearances.
However, if the installation is carried out above an oven, a partition is not necessary.
