Automatic switch-off protection
The switched-on glass ceramic hob is automatically switched off after a pre-programmed
time if it is left unused. If several heating zones are operating simultaneously, the glass
ceramic hob switches off automatically as soon as one of these zones reach this pre-
programmed time. This pre-programmed time depends on the different power levels, see
table.

NOTE
Even if the residual heat indicator goes out, the cooking zone surface can still cause
burns!
Below you will find some important tips on how to use your new glass ceramic hob and
cookware in an energy-saving and efficient way. The diameter of the pot base should be
the same as the hob diameter.
When buying pots, note that frequently the diameter at the top of the pot is
indicated. However, this is generally larger than the bottom of the pot.
Due to their closed cooking chamber and the pressure, pressure cookers are
particularly rime and energy-efficient. The short cooking time also conserves the
vitamins.
Always ensure that there is sufficient liquid in the pressure cooker, because a pot
that has boiled dry can damage the pot and the hob due to overheating.
If possible, always close pots with the matching lid.
The right pot should be used for each quantity of food. A large, barely filled pot
requires a lot of energy.
Installation Instructions
Drill holes in the mounting plate according to the sizes in the picture. A minimum
distance of 50 mm must be maintained around the hole for installation and use.
Please make sure that the thickness of the mounting plate is at least 30 mm. Please
choose a mounting plate made of heat-resistant material to avoid severe deformation
due to heat radiation from the hob.
