Important Operation Information
Risk of children entrapment. Before your throw away your old refrigerator:
Remove the electrical connection wiring and also ensure that the door is removed and leave the shelves in
place to prevent children from being trapped inside - DANGER OF SUFFOCATION!
● The appliance must be correctly connected to the power supply.
● Do not use an extension cords or ungrounded (two prong) adapters.
● Do not touch the cooled surfaces while the appliance operates, especially not with wet hands, because the skin may stick
to the cold surfaces.
● If the food has strange smell or color, throw it away, because it is very likely that it is spoiled and therefore dangerous to eat.
● Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before repairing it (only a qualified technician should repair it), or before
cleaning.
● The rating plate is inside the appliance or outside on the rear wall.
Electrical Connection
Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the dataplate match
the electrical outlet. The power plug for the appliance must be connected to a power socket with a ground terminal. Put the
appliance in an upright position for at least 2 hours before switching it on.
NOTE: Wait 3-5 minutes before restarting if you unplug the refrigerator. The unit may fail to operate properly if restarted too
quickly.
Control Settings
The temperature control adjusts the temperature in the refrigerator. On the dial, 1 is the warmest setting, and 7 is the coldest.
Start by setting the Control at 4. Allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to reach the operating temperature. If you want a colder or
warmer temperature, move the dial one setting at a time. Moving the control to 0 stops cooling but does not turn off the power
to the refrigerator. Setting the control too high may cause freezing in the refrigerator depending on the room temperature.
Temperature Regulation
To switch on the appliance, turn the thermostat knob clockwise from 0 (stop) to the desired cooling temperature: The higher
the number, the lower the temperature will be. A medium thermostat setting is generally recommended.
Energy Saving Tips
● Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is wet and hot. Once you open the door, mind to close it as
soon as possible.
● Periodically check if the appliance is sufficiently ventilated (adequate air circulation around the appliance).
● Set thermostat from higher to lower settings as soon as possible (depends on how loaded the appliance is ambient
temperature etc.)
● Before loading the appliance with packages of fresh foods, make sure they are cooled to ambient temperature.
