Selecting
a flash mode

Press ,_ (Flash) on the control
button, then select the desired
mode with _/1_ ----, O.
_AOIO (Auto): Flash automatically
operates
in
dark locations
or when there is backlight.
$ (On): Flash always operates.
SsL (Slow
Synchro):
Flash always operates.
The shutter speed is slow in a dark
place to clearly shoot the background
that is out of flash light.
@ (Off): Flash does not operate.
• IOn] and [Slow Synchro]
are not available
when the camera
is in Intelligent
Auto Adjustment
mode.
• You cannot use the flash during burst or bracket
shooting.
• Depending
on the shooting
conditions,
the periphery
of the image may become
dark when the flash
operates.
Changing
the screen display

Press DISP (Screen Display
Settings) on the control button, then
select the desired mode with a/T.
(Bright
+ Image Only): Sets screen
brighter
and displays only images.
(Bright
+ Histogram):
Sets screen
brighter and displays a graph of the image brightness.
(Bright):
Sets screen brighter
and displays the information.

(Normal):
Sets screen to standard brightness
and displays the information.
