UNIVERSAL AC/DC POWER ADAPTER
The unit is equipped with a universal AC/DC power adapter.
CHARGING CLIPPER
This battery charger is intended for use with Andis model CLC-5 clipper. Remove the
clipper and AC/DC adapter from the carton. Plug the adapter into a 120V AC outlet, or
according to your local power standards. Confirm the voltage available at each overseas
location before using the appliance. For connection to a 240V supply, use an
attachment plug adapter of the proper configuration for the power supply receptacle.
The clipper must be OFF for the battery to charge. Plug the adapter cord plug directly
into the bottom of the clipper. The clipper has a lithium-ion battery that cannot be
damaged by overcharging. We recommend that the clipper be unplugged if not in
use for seven or more days.

Available Battery Life
Remaining battery life shown in percentage until the battery is depleted and will need a recharge.
Oil Blade Reminder
After a usage of 30 minutes, the oil blade reminder will turn on to indicate that the blade needs to be
cleaned and oiled. Please see the "Care and Servicing of your Andis Clipper Blades" section for additional
instructions.
Charge Icon
The charge icon will blink on and off in Red while the unit is plugged in and charging.
The icon will change to a solid White when fully charged.
Travel Lock Feature
This product is equipped with a travel lock feature. To enable the travel lock, press and hold the power button
for three seconds or until you see the white lock symbol turn on. To release the travel lock, press and hold the
power button for three seconds, or until the clipper turns on.
