General Safety
WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and
instructions may result in damage to the tool or serious injury.
WARNING This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced,
physical or mental capabilities or lack of experience or knowledge unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Familiarise yourself with the applications, limitations and hazards of this spray gun
• Keep this product in good working order and condition. Take immediate action to repair or
replace damaged parts
• Use recommended parts only. Unapproved parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the
warranty
• Use the spray gun only for its intended purpose
• Use appropriate safety equipment including eye protection, respiratory protection and protective
gloves
• Keep proper footing and balance at all times. If appropriate secure workpiece in a clamp or vice
• Ensure that the spray gun is disconnected from the air supply before servicing, changing
accessories and when not in use
• DO NOT direct paint at yourself, others or animals
• DO NOT allow smoking or open flames in the work area
• DO NOT tamper with, or adjust safety valves or other safety features
• DO NOT use whilst tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication
WARNING Solvents and paints are flammable, harmful and can even be toxic. Some
solvents and paints are extremely flammable. Handle with care, according to the manufacturer's
recommendations. Store solvents and paint in suitable sealed, leak proof containers. Always wear
suitable protective equipment and dispose of solvents and paints, as well as contaminated items, as
special waste, according to laws and regulations.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
Compressed Air Safety
Air under pressure can cause severe injury:
• Always shut off air supply, drain hose of air pressure and disconnect tool from air supply when
not in use, before changing accessories or when making repairs
• Never direct air at yourself or anyone else
• Whipping hoses can cause severe injury. Always check for damaged or loose hoses and fittings
• Do not exceed the maximum air pressure
• Never carry a spray gun by the hose
