However, if one day they lose some of their effecti-
veness, you can restore them to their original state
by crushing ice previously soaked in water.
Grind on speed 10, 20 or 30 seconds.
6. USE OF ACCESSORIES:
STEAMER:

The steamer is ideal for cooking vegetables, meat,
sausages, steamed bread, steamed fish and more.
You can use the steamer in either of the following
two combinations:
Combination 1: Lid (M) + Steamer inner tray (N) +
Steamer (O)
Use this combination to prepare different types of food.
Combination 2: Lid (M) + Steamer (O)
Use this combination for larger portions of the same
type of food, e.g. large pieces or portions of vegeta-
bles, potatoes or large pieces of meat or sausages.
Follow the steps below:
1. Mount the blade on the mixing jar and then place
it in the main unit.
2. Add the water to the jar (between 0.5L and 2L).
Caution: there must be a minimum of 0.5 litres of
water in the jar.
With 0.5l of water you can steam food for about 30
minutes.
For every additional 15 minutes, add 250ml of wa-
ter.
3. Place the sealing gasket on the lid of the jar and
then close the lid.
4. Turn the jar lid until it locks into position.
5. Do not place the measuring cup/plug in the lid
nozzle, thereby keeping the center aperture open.
6. Install the jar on the appliance.
7. Place the steamer on top of the jar.
8. Place the food in the steamer or on the tray and
close it with the steamer cover.
9. Plug the appliance into the mains and press the
"On" button.
10. Set the speed, time and temperature as requi-
red.
11. Press the "Start/Stop" button, the appliance
starts to operate and the timer starts counting down.
12. The "Beep" sound will be heard when cooking
is complete.
13. After use, switch off the main appliance and re-
move the steamer cover.
14. Remove processed food from the steamer.
The Chef-O-Matic® Kitchen Robot features the
"steam" programme for steam cooking.
The steamer can be placed on the mixing jar lid
when the measuring cup/plug is removed during
cooking to avoid splashing.

The steamer can be used to strain ingredients.
Caution:
1. Danger of scalding due to hot steam or hot con-
densed water.
2. Never heat the steamer when it is empty.
3. If the steamer cover is not properly fitted, steam
will escape and the food inside the steamer will not
cook properly.
4. Never leave the measuring cup plugged onto
the mixing jar lid when using the steamer. Keep the
center aperture open.
5. Hot steam and hot condensed water are dange-
rous. Please handle with care.
6. Do not touch the metal part of the jar when it is
hot. Hold only the handle of the jar to move it.
BUTTERFLY (mixer attachment):

The butterfly will help you achieve the best results
when you want to make mayonnaise or whip cream
or egg whites.
Follow the steps:
1. Hold the butterfly at the ball end.
2. Attach the butterfly to the top of the blade, you will
hear a "click" to indicate that it has locked into place
(see picture above).
To remove the butterfly, grasp the ball end of the
butterfly and pull it out while rotating it in both di-
rections.
Use the butterfly:
1- Place the blades and the butterfly in the mixing
jar.
2- Place the food in the jar.
3- Put the lid on the jar.
4- Turn it until it locks into position and place the
measuring cup/plug in the jar lid nozzle.
5- Place the jar in the central unit.
6- Plug the device into the mains and press the "On"
button.
7- Select the required time and speed
8 - Press the "Start/Stop" button.
The appliance starts to operate and the timer starts
counting down.
9- A "Beep" sound will be heard when the operation
is completed.
10- Switch off the main unit when you have finished
using it. Remove the jar lid.
11- Remove the food from the jar.
Caution:
1. Do not switch on the appliance until the throttle
valve has been correctly positioned.
2. Do not add ingredients that may damage or block
the butterfly when the blade is in motion and the
butterfly is in place.
