EDITING DATA WITH BID
Note: this supplementary parameter and the data stored on it are only displayed if a BID
chip or key is connected to the charger. The other user-variable parameters have already
been explained on page 12, so this section only mentions the differences.

SETTINGS
Use the "EDIT" button to select the "SETTINGS" menu, and then confirm your choice by
pressing "ENTER". The "+" or "-" buttons or the "SELECT WHEEL" can now be used to
display the following parameters.

when the charge current falls to C/20; at the "FAST" cut-off setting the threshold is C/10.
If you select the "FAST" cut-off setting, the battery is charged more quickly, but it will only
have about 95% of its full capacity.

move to the "LANGUAGE" menu point. Select it by pressing "ENTER", then set your pre-
ferred language using the arrow buttons. When you have set the language, press the
"ENTER" button to confirm your choice. To activate the change, move to "END" and confirm
your choice with "ENTER".
Operating Instructions
Display of the date defined on the BID chip or key
(e.g. date of purchase of the battery).
The menu "CHARGE Li" enables you to set the
charge cut-off level for Lithium batteries. At the "NOR-
MAL" cut-off setting, the charge process is terminated
This function enables you to adjust the volume of the
audible tones emitted by the charger. Three modes
are available: OFF, QUIET and LOUD.
In this menu you can select any of three different cut-
off melodies.
The charger's software can be set to any of the fol-
lowing languages: German, English, French, Italian,
Spanish or Czech; to select your preferred language
use the "SELECT WHEEL" or the arrow buttons to
