Thank you for choosing our heater. Before using the appliance, carefully read these instruc-
tions to ensure it is used correctly.
The safety precautions enclosed reduce the risk of death, injury and electrical shock when
correctly followed. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with the com-
pleted warranty card, purchase receipt and package. If applicable, pass these instructions
on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident
prevention measures when using an electrical appliance. We assume no liability for custom-
ers failing to comply with these requirements.
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed.
• This appliance can be used by children aged eight years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they are supervised or instructed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the
hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user mainte-
nance should not be carried out by children without supervision.
• Children younger than three years old should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged between three and eight years old may only switch the appliance on or off
if it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have
been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged between three and eight years old may not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.
• CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular
attention must be paid when children and vulnerable people are present.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, the service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out,
this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.
• WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a plug socket.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS FOR OIL HEATERS
• This heater is filled with a precise quantity of special oil.
• Repairs requiring opening of the oil container are only to be made by the manufacturer or
their service agent, who should be contacted if there is an oil leak.
• When scrapping the heater, follow the regulations for disposing of oil.
