To replace the backflow stop
Replace a defective backflow stop.
1.
Unscrew the adapter with the
hose attachment (13) on the an-
gle adapter (15) and remove the
backflow stop (14a) and seal
(14b).
2.
Insert the seal (14b) into the
back flow stop (14a).
3.
Set the backflow stop (14) be-
tween the angle adapter (15)
and the adapter with the hose
connection (13) in such a man-
ner that the stop is opened in
the flowing direction and closed
against the flowing direction.
To clean the paddle wheel
In the case of too severe precipitation in
the pump casing (12), the lower part of the
pumps must be disassembled as follows:
1.
Loosen the screw (18a) on
the floor of the base (10) and
remove the fixing cap (19) and
spring.
Caution: the screw holds the
spring together with the fixing
cap (19) and is therefore live.
2.
Take off the rotary disk (8).
3.
Loosen the four screws (18 b-e)
on the base (10).
4.
Take off the base (10).
5.
Clean the paddle wheel, base
and rotary disk (8) with clear
water.
6.
Screw the base (10) back on.
Ensure that the base and
sealing ring (20) are sitting
correctly.

Any measures above and beyond these,
particularly opening the equipment, are
to be carried out by an electrician. In the
case of repairs, always contact our serv-
ice centre.
Storage
•
Keep the device in a dry place, pro-
tected from frost and out of reach of
children.
Wind the mains cable around the
cable holder (1) on the back of
the pump body (12) (see chapter:
"Start Up").
Waste Disposal and Envi-
ronmental Protection
Be environmentally friendly. Return the
tool, accessories and packaging to a recy-
cling centre when you have finished with
them.
Electric appliances should not be
disposed of in the domestic gar-
bage.
Hand the tool in at a recycling centre. The
plastics and metal parts can be separated
and recycled. Ask your Service Center
about this.
Defective units returned to us will be dis-
posed of for free.
