Requirements for operating staff
The operating staff must carefully read the Operating Inst-
ructions before using the appliance.
Since the use of the device if handled incorrectly can entail
considerable risks, only knowledgeable persons may be
entrusted with the use of it.
Qualification: The operator must be appropriately trai-
ned in setting up, operating and using the machine. Apart
from the detailed instructions by a professional, no special
qualification is necessary for appliance using.
Minimum age: Persons over 18 years of age can only
work on the appliance. An exception includes youngsters
trained in order to reach knowledge under supervision of
the trainer during occupational education.
Training: Using the appliance only requires correspon-
ding training by a professional or the Operating Instruc-
tions. No special training is necessary. The operator is
responsible for accidents or risks to third parties.
Working instructions
• Before each use, check that the battery and electrodes are
correctly attached.
• The device may be used at an ambient air temperature
between 5°C and 40°C and a corresponding humidity of
50 % at temperatures up to 40°C and of 90 % at tempera-
tures up to 20°C.
• Carry out some test runs with sheets that have the same
texture and thickness as the sheets to be processed.
• Before starting work, hold the appliance firmly by the handle
provided.
• The device cannot be used while it is charging. Stop charging
before using the device.
• Keep work area clean and well lit.
• Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
• A free air intake and a free air outlet must always be ensured.
• Switch off the device if it will not be used for a long time.
• When you have finished using the appliance, switch it off
and place it on a flat, level and insulating surface.
Safety instructions
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection.
• Wear protective gloves and clothing suitable for resistance
welding work.
• Never point the device near your body. The minimum
distance is 20 cm.
• The device must not be operated in a wet or damp environ-
ment. Do not expose the device to rain.
• Do not drop the device or subject it to violent blows.
• Never weld pressurised vessels.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such
as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust.

• Wood, sawdust, „varnishes", petrol, kerosine, natural gas,
acetylene, propane and similar flammable materials must be
removed from the place of work and the surrounding area or
protected against sparks flying away.
Attention!
Danger of burns!
Parts of the appliance can reach temperatures above 65°C.
Suitable protective clothing must be worn.
Let the just welded workpiece cool down and do not place it
near ammable substances!
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a
power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Fire and explosion hazard!
Never carry out a welding operation on a sheet in contact
with flammable materials. Never place tools that are not
required on the workpiece! Always place tools that are
not in use on a stable, non-conductive surface.
To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product
damage due to a short circuit, never immerse your tool,
battery pack or charger in fluid or allow a fluid to flow
inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as sea-
water, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach
containing products, etc., Can cause a short circuit.
• Never disassemble, open or modify the device in any way.
• Repairs to the device may only be carried out by appointed
and trained personnel. For such purposes, always use origi-
nal spare parts from Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG. This will
ensure the continuing safe operation of the device.
• Protect the device from high temperatures, dust and other
environmental influences.
• Use only genuine Würth accessories and spare
parts.
Electrical safety
Warning: This power tool generates an electromagnetic
field during operation. Under certain circumstances, this

reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, we recommend
that individuals with medical implants consult your physi-
cian and the manufacturer of the medical implant before
operating the machine.
Persons with life support devices such as pacemakers
should consult their doctor before approaching this appa-
ratus, to ensure that magnetic fields and high electrical
currents will not interfere with such devices.
Insert the plug of the electrical cable in a socket of suitable
shape, voltage and frequency complying with current
regulations.
