Disconnect battery pack from tool before making any assembly, adjustments
or changing accessories. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the tool accidentally.
Inserting and Removing
Battery Pack
Use only Bosch or AMPShare
batteries recommended in
the battery/charger list, included with your
tool. Use of any other types of batteries may re-
sult in personal injury or property damage.

To insert the battery pack:
1. Slide charged Battery Pack 6 into the hous-
ing until the battery pack locks into position.
Your tool is equipped with a secondary locking
latch to prevent the battery pack from complete-
ly falling out of the battery holder, should it be-
come loose due to vibration.
To remove the battery pack:
1. Press the Battery Pack Release Button 5 and
slide the Battery Pack 6 from the housing.
Protection Against Deep
Discharging
The lithium ion battery is protected against deep
discharging by the "Electronic Cell Protection
(ECP)". When the battery is empty, the cordless
worklight is switched off by means of a protec-
tive circuit.
Turning the Worklight On and
Adjusting the Brightness
To turn the worklight ON, press the On/Off But-
ton 1. The light will glow at low brightness. To
increase the brightness to the medium setting,
press the On/Off button a second time. To in-
crease the brightness to the high setting , press
the On/Off button a third time.
To turn worklight OFF, press the On/Off button
a fourth time.

Note: If the worklight has been turned on and
remains on the lowest brightness setting for five
consecutive minutes, it will be switched off im-
mediately the next time the ON/OFF button is
pressed.
