7. After use, disconnect the plug from the mains, detach the shaft from the motor body with
a counter-clockwise motion and clean as described in the section, "CLEANING AND
MAINTENANCE".
Notes and tips:
• The liquids or ingredients must not be higher than the mixer shaft.
• If the appliance is used to blend hot foods in a saucepan, remove the latter from the
heat source and make sure the liquid is not brought to a boil.
• Leave hot foods to cool to avoid the risk of burns.
• Do not leave the immersion blender in a hot pan when not in use.
• Do not scrape the bottom of non-stick saucepans with the shaft, as the stainless steel
may scratch or leave marks on the non-stick coatings.
• Position the shaft in a container before turning on the appliance.
B) FOOD BLENDER
HAZARD! Do not blend particularly hard foods such
as ice cubes, nutmeg, coffee beans and cereals.
The blades are very sharp! Exercise extra caution when
handling the blade assembly.
1. Position the blade assembly in the food blender bowl and press it down to secure it.
2. Place the ingredients in the bowl, making sure the solid ingredients are not larger than
2 cm.
3. Place the lid on the bowl and secure it.
4. Attach the motor unit to the food blender bowl with a clockwise
motion until it clicks in.
