4. Design and function

4.1 Description
The models TR30 and TR31 resistance thermometers consist of a thermowell with
fixed process connection, and are screwed directly into the process. They are designed
to be resistant to shock and vibration and all electrical components are protected
against splashed water. The vibration resistance of the standard version complies with
DIN EN 60751 (up to 3 g); specific designs can withstand up to 10 g. The impact resistance
for all versions meets the requirements of DIN EN 60751. The electrical connection is made
via a angular DIN connector, Form A (TR30) or M12 x 1 circular connector (TR30, TR31).
