FITTING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Disassemble the spare wheel and the light fittings from the bumper.
Take off the synthetic covering plate at the back. Remove the plug of
the fog lamp (reversing light), which is under the covering plate.
Disassemble the bumper. Turn back the two raised lips at the back of
the chassis, so that they point downwards. Remove the towing-eyes
on the left and on the right under the vehicle from the chassis together
with the lock nuts(fig.1). These are not to be used anymore.
2. Position the tow bar without the ball. To this end push the supports A
of the tow bar into the chassis in such a way that they correspond with
the holes provided. At points B and D fasten four bolts M10x30 inclu-
ding lock and spring washers. At the points C fasten two bolts M10x65
including lock and spring washers.
3. Saw out a 55 mm x 40 mm section in the middle at the bottom side of
the bumper, in accordance with (fig.2) Replace what was disassemb-
led under point 1. Position the ball bar and fasten it to the tow bar by
means of two bolts M12x70 including self-locking nuts and lock was-
hers. Tighten all the bolts and nuts in accordance with the table.

NOTE:
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fitting points.
* All bolts are quality 8.8 - nuts 8. or when mentioned in fitting instructions
10.9 / 10.
* Don't forget the spring- and plain washers.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and ball
hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* It is recommendable to retighten all fixing bolts and nuts after the towbar
has been in use for some 1000 km/600 miles.
* Do not drill through brake-or fuellines.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
