Installation
1. Examine the vehicle on which the connector harness
assembly will be installed. Choose a flat, rigid,
structurally sound surface, such as the top of the front
bumper, for mounting the plug so that it can be reached
without opening the vehicle's hood. Check that the
cables can be routed to the battery terminals without
straining or kinking them and that they are free of
obstructions and moving parts (such as fan blades or
drive belts) and sources of high heat (such as exhaust
manifolds). Finally, make sure that the underside of the
mounting surface is accessible so that all the required
hardware can be installed to secure the plug.
