Gigaset SL44 – a handset with many extras
Gigaset SL44 –
a handset with many extras
Your Gigaset SL44 not only lets you store
up to 200 telephone numbers and e-mail
addresses (page 11) – your Gigaset SL44
can do much, much more:
u
Assign important numbers or fre-
quently used functions to your tele-
phone keys. You can then dial the
number or start the function by press-
ing a key (page 16).
u
Record your favourite sound with the
handset and create your personal
ringer tone (page 20).
u
You can designate important people as
VIPs so you can tell important calls by
the ringer melody (page 12).
u
Store a voice pattern for important
directory entries – the phone dials on
command (page 13).
u
You can store appointments (page 21)
and anniversaries (page 12) on your
phone and it will remind you of them in
advance.
Have fun using your new Gigaset SL44!

destroyed or the battery could explode. The
phone could also malfunction or be damaged
as a result of using batteries that are not of the
recommended type.

Insert the batteries ensuring correct
polarity (see figure).
The polarity is indicated in or on the bat-
tery compartment.
Closing the battery cover
¤
Place the cover on the battery compart-
ment a little down from the latch and
push it up until it clicks into position.
Opening the battery cover
¤
Press on the battery cover below the
upper edge and push it downwards.
Registering your phone
Before you can use your Gigaset SL44 you
must register it to a base unit. It can be
registered on up to four bases. The actual
registration procedure will depend on the
type of base unit.
