For connection between Super VHS
camcorder and Super VHS VCR
1. Connect the audio/video connection cord to the AV input terminals of the recording VCR.
2. Set the input select switch of the recording VCR to the "external input" (AUX or EXT, etc.) position.
3. Set the camcorder to the play mode and check that the camcorder picture appears on the TV monitor.
Note:
Even when the 21-pin "Euro" connector is used to connect the camcorder to the VCR, make sure to correctly set
the recording VCR's input selection
Installation of JX-ED11
e Place the JX-ED11 so that the remote-control signals transmitted from this unit easily reach both the camcorder
and recording VCR used.

@ As shown above, there are five points from which
the remote-control signals are transmitted.
Among them, point @ is convenient when the
camcorder is set beside the JX-ED11.
@ Be sure to check the remote signal receptor
positions of the camcorder and VCR used.
3. Notes on placement
@ The JX-ED11 cannot control a VCR if a foreign
object obstructs the remote signal from the JX-
ED11.
e The JX-ED11 cannot control
a VCR placed ona
surface that is too high or too low in relation to
the JX-ED11.
