@EDIT STANDBY button
@ When this button is pressed, the JX-ED11
enters
editing standby mode.
e@ The playback VCR/camcorder enters playback
mode and the recording VCR enters record-pause
mode.
@N button
e Press this button to set the "cut-in" point while
editing.
@ The recording VCR releases record-pause mode
and starts recording.
When editing using JVC R.A. Edit function
@ When the R.A. Edit function provided with JVC camcorder/VCR is used for editing, the EDIT STANDBY ©,
IN @, OUT ®, EDIT CHECK @ and EDIT STOP @ buttons function exclusively for R.A. Edit functions.
For details, refer to "Editing with JVC R.A. Edit function" on page 14.
@Shuttle knob
e Turn this knob to the right to activate forward
shuttle search in the playback VCR/camcorder;
turn it to the left to activate reverse shuttle search
in the playback VCR/camcorder.
This knob does not control the recording VCR.
@OuT button
e Press this button to set the "cut-out" point while
editing.
@ The recording VCR stops recording and enters
record-pause mode.
@eEDIT CHECK button
@ This button is used to check whether editing
operation is correctly performed or not.
@ When this button is pressed, the playback
VCR/camcorder stops and the recording VCR
rewinds the tape slightly via reverse shuttle mode
(shuttle search in reverse direction), then enters
the play mode.
@ As long as this button is pressed, the recording
VCR continues in reverse shuttle mode.
@EDIT STOP button
® Pressing this button stops editing operation.
@ Both the playback VCR/camcorder and recording
VCR enter stop mode.
CAUTION
The JX-ED11
EDIT STANDBY,
IN, OUT, EDIT CHECK and EDIT STOP editing control buttons each control
transmission of various remote control signals for the playback VCR/camcorder and the recording VCR.
Pressing any of these buttons at times other than during editing may cause either the playback unit, the
recording unit or both to operate in unexpected ways.
