® Batteries should also be replaced with new ones
when the distance within which remote control
operates decreases.
3. Memory Backup
@ Even when the SET indicator blinks rapidly,
memorized remote-control signals, etc. are still
retained in memory unless batteries are removed
for an extended period.
® Memorized contents are retained for approx. 30
minutes after the batteries are removed from the
JX-ED11, so be sure to insert new batteries within
this period.

Cautions Regarding Batteries
@ The batteries provided with the JX-ED11 are for
checking the initial operation of the unit. As they
will become exhausted in a short while, please
replace them with new ones as soon as possible.
If a battery is used incorrectly, it could be
damaged, leak or explode. Pay attention to the
following:
@ Load the batteries with the correct (+) and (-)
polarities in position, following the indications
in the battery compartments.
@ Do not use old and new batteries at the same
time.
@ Since batteries may have different voltages
even when they have the same shape and
size, do not use different types of batteries at
the same time.
e Also, read the cautions on the battery's label
carefully.
