BATTERY FLUID LEVEL CHECK
WARNING!
Protect body parts (eyes, hair, hands, etc.) properly, when performing battery check and cleaning procedures.
1.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
2.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
3.
To disconnect the battery (18, Fig. E), turn the key of the release device (37, Fig. E) and then remove it.
4.
Remove the 2 screws and open the cab left door (19, Fig. E).
5.
Check the color of the hygrometer (38, Fig. E); if it is green the battery is ok, if is red:
•
The battery must be refi lled with distilled water
•
The battery must be charged.
If the hygrometer color is still red, the battery must be replaced.
6.
If necessary, clean the battery.
7.
Check the battery terminal connections for oxidation.
8.
Close the cab left door (19, Fig. E) and tighten the screws.
9.
Insert the battery by installing and turning the key of the release device (37, Fig. E) to horizontal position.
WARNING!
To switch the release device key position, fi rst press and turn the key.
BRAKE FLUID LEVEL CHECK
1.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
2.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
3.
Open the right door (16, Fig. G) by releasing the fasteners (17) with the supplied key.
4.
Check that the level of the oil in the tank (15, Fig. F) is approximately at 1 cm from the fi ller neck. If necessary top up using the
same type of fl uid that is in the line.
Type of fl uid used: DOT4.
5.
Close the right door (16, Fig. G) by engaging the fasteners (17) with the supplied key.
REVERSE GEAR BUZZER OPERATION CHECK
Check that, when the machine moves in reverse, the relevant buzzer sounds.
If necessary, adjust the relevant sensor according to the instructions in the Service Manual.
DISENGAGED PARKING BRAKE BUZZER OPERATION CHECK
Check that, when the key is turned to on and the parking brake is disengaged, if the operator is not on the driver's seat the
intermittent warning buzzer turns on.
If necessary, adjust the parking brake microswitch according to the instructions in the Service Manual.
TIRE PRESSURE CHECK
1.
Engage the parking brake (7, Fig. E).
2.
Turn off the engine, by turning the ignition key (17, Fig. D) counterclockwise, to the end of stroke, then remove it.
3.
The tire pressure should be as follows:
•
Front tires:
54 psi (3.75 Bar)
•
Rear tires:
54 psi (3.75 Bar)
WARNING!
Please respect the recommended tire pressure as stated in the relevant decals.
The manufacturer rating is based on standard drive speed and standard load rating, different from the actual
machine application.
