7. Lift up the handle (E) and install
the Top Case 1 onto the top
case plate.
8. Fold the handle (E) down and
check that the lock lever (F) fits
into the top case plate.
WARNING
Make sure that the Top Case
1 is surely installed. Other-
wise, the case could come off
while riding, resulting in an
accident.
9. Hold the handle (E) and lock
lever (A) folded down com-
pletely, then lock the Top Case
1 by turning the key.
WARNING
Make sure that the handle (E)
is completely folded down and
that the red label is not visible
before locking the Top Case 1.
If the handle (E) is not com-
pletely folded down before
locking, the case could come
off while riding, resulting in an
accident.
