OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DISPLAY AREA ICONS
TURNING THE APPLIANCE ON/OFF
1. Plug the the unit into the appropriate outlet. The
unit is now in standby.
• Press the power (ON/OFF) button. The last
active function will be displayed.
• Pressing the power (ON/OFF) button to shut
down the appliance will activate the anti-mold
function. The anti-mold function will run for
approximately 20 seconds and the display
screen will show the count down.
Cool Mode
• Press the mode button until the Cooling mode
icon (snowflake) appears on the display.
• Select the target temperature by pressing
the Increase or Decrease button until the
temperature is displayed.
• Select the required fan speed by pressing
the Fan button until the required fan speed is
displayed.
Heat Mode
Heat mode uses the heat pump. If heat mode is
chosen however it is not available for the appliance,
it will turn to Fan mode.
Fan Mode
• Press the mode button until the fan icon appears
on the display.
• Press the fan button to choose the desired fan
speed: low or high.
• The exhaust hose does not need to be installed
during fan mode.
• Fan mode can be used to run the fan without
engaging the cooling, heating or dehumidifying
functions.
Dry Mode
• Press the mode button until the Dry Mode icon
appears on the display.
• In dry mode the fan speed is set automatically
by the appliance and can not be set manually.
Note: Continuous drain hose is not included. If
purchasing a continuous drain hose, the hose
required size is 1/2" (12.7mm).
Smart Mode
Smart Mode is not available with this model. If
smart mode is chosen the appliance will default to
Fan mode.
