OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Auto Off
When the appliance is running, press the Timer
button. The screen will display hours, the timer
symbol and h symbol are flashing.
Press the increase or decrease button until the
corresponding time is displayed.
Press the timer button, the timer will be active, the
Timer off symbol and h will appear on the display
screen.
NOTE:
The timer increases or decreases in 0.5 hour
increments.
Turbo function
This function is for COOL mode only and is used to
reach a low temperature setting.
Press the Function button, the Turbo symbol will flash
on the display screen.
Press the Function button again to confirm. The
Turbo symbol will stop flashing which will show that
the function is working.
Set the appliance to COOL mode with a
temperature setting of 18 °C (64°F) and the fan to
high speed.
NOTE:
This function can not be set in HEAT mode.
NOTE:
To cancel this function, press the Function button, the
Turbo symbol will flash on the display screen.
Press the Function button again to confirm, the Turbo
symbol will stop flashing and disappear from the
screen.
Pressing other buttons such as Mode, Increase or
Decrease will also cancel the function.
CHILD LOCK
The child lock can be activated by pressing the
temperature control buttons on the remote control
at the same time for 3 seconds. The buttons on the
remote control cannot be used while the child lock is
active. To deactivate the child lock, press and hold
the temperature control buttons at the same time for
3 seconds.
The child lock can only be activated or deactivated
using the remote control.
Follow Me function
This function can ONLY be activated from the
remote control. The remote control serves as a
remote thermostat allowing for the precise
temperature control at its location.
Point the remote control towards the appliance and
press the Function button.
Press the Increase or Decrease button until the
Follow Me symbol starts to flash on the screen.
Press the Function button to confirm, the Follow Me
symbol will stop flashing and show on the screen.
NOTE:
To cancel this function, press the Funtion button and
then the Increase or Decrease button until the Follow
Me symbol flashes on the display screen. Press the
Function button again to confirm, the Follow Me
symbol will stop flashing and disappear from the
display screen.
NOTE:
The remote control will send a signal to the air
conditioner every 20 minutes until the Follow Me/
Temp Sensing button is pressed. If the unit does not
receive the Follow Me/Temp Sensing signal during
any 25 minute interval, it will exit the Follow Me/
Temp Sensing mode.
