OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WATER DRAINAGE
When the internal drain pan becomes full the
appliance will stop operating and the display will
show error code below.
The air conditioning or dehumidifying action will
stop but the fan may continue to operate.
There are two methods to drain water from the
appliance:
1. Manual Draining
1. Turn the appliance off and unplug it from the
power source.
2. Place a pan (not supplied) under the lower drain
plug.
3. Remove the lower drain plug and allow the
water to completely drain into the pan.
4. Replace the bottom drain plug, pressing firmly to
ensure a tight fit and no leaks.
5. Turn the unit on.
2. Continuous Drain
1. Turn the appliance off and unplug it from the
power source.
2. Remove the drain plug. While doing this
operation some residual water may spill. Please
have a pan (not supplied) to collect the water.
3. Connect a drain hose 12.7mm (1/2"). The drain
hose is not supplied.
4. The water can be continuously drained through
the hose into a floor drain or bucket.
5. Turn the unit on.
NOTE:
Ensure the hose is on a downward angle from the
unit and is not kinked or curled into a spiral as this
can cause the water tank to not be drained.
