5. Connect the external power supply to
the switch, and then plug it into a Surge
Protector, Uninterruptible Power Supply
(UPS) or Power Distribution Unit (PDU).
The red Power LED and green Input 1
LED will illuminate to indicate that power
is being received.
6. Turn on the power to the HDMI source
devices and display.
7. Switch between source devices via
the Select pushbutton on the unit or
the included remote control. You can
also let the Auto Switch functionality
automatically switch to ports that are
powered on. When multiple ports have
powered-on devices connected to
them, the lowest numbered port will be
switched to. Once the device connected
to the lowest numbered port is powered
off, the next powered-on port in line will
be switched to.
