ADJUSTING COIL GUIDES
1.
Loosen screws in coil guides to adjust. (See Figure 5)
1/2" (13 mm) staples: Push guides forward and in as far
as they go; tighten screws.
5/8" (16 mm) staples: Push guides to rear with screws in
center of slot; tighten screws.
3/4" (19 mm) staples: Push guides forward and outwards
as far as they go; tighten screws.

Magazine Boss
2. Place coil of staples into magazine. Feed front end
of coil into the side and top guides. Push forward
until it stops. Swing cover open and slightly squeeze
to enlarge magazine bosses. Check positive
engagement.
3. Using 1/8" (3 mm) Allen wrench, turn nut to the left to
tighten and right to loosen clinch. (See Figure 6)

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
Loosen front screw and adjust to desired length. When
the top edge of adjustment plate is at highest setting
(#4), the clinches are at their shallowest penetration.
If set at lowest setting (#1), the clinchers are at their
deepest penetration. (See Figure 7)
NOTE: Tighten screw after adjusting stapler.

USING THE STAPLER
1. Grasp handle with one hand. Position on box in line
with the desired staple location.
NOTE: There is a small triange on either side of
the frame as an aid in locating the position of
the staple. (See Figure 8)
2. Press trigger.
NOTE: Check staple clinching. Adjust clinch
for depth of penetration and tightness as
necessary.
