ADJUSTING THE SEAT AND FOOTREST
It is important to adjust the depth and height of the seat in line with the child's
size. See the enclosed diagrams. The positions of the seat and footrest should be
adjusted as the child grows.
2
POSITIONING THE SEAT
Height: the seat is at the correct height when the child's elbows are level with the
table top and his shoulders are relaxed.
Depth: to adjust the seat to the correct depth, position the child with his back
leaning against the backrest, so that the seat supports ¾ of the length of his
thighs. So it is more comfortable for the child, it is important that the seat is not
too deep and that there is a gap between the front edge of the seat and the child's
legs. The panel of the seat should not protrude more than 4-5 cm past the side
legs of the chair.
EN 14988:2006+A1:2012
Use the seat in the highest position for children from 6 months up to 36 months old.
3
POSITIONING THE FOOTREST
Height: The footrest is at the correct height when the child, with his thighs sup-
ported on the seat, can rest the soles of his feet fully on the footrest.
Depth: Make sure that the front edge of the footrest NEVER protrudes past the
front edge of the chair legs on the floor. As shown in the diagrams.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Wipe with a damp cloth and dry off any excess water with a dry cloth.
Damp will crack the paintwork. We do not recommend the use of detergent or
microfiber cloths. Exposing the chair to sunlight may discolour the wood.
