Wait until the symbol has
stopped flashing. When it
has stopped flashing, then
start the new measurement.
Place the thermometer in a
room with a temperature of
between 10.0 °C (50.0 °F)
and 40.0 °C (104.0 °F) for at
least 30 minutes.
Remove the insulation strips
from the battery (see sect.
4.).
Replace the battery (see
sect. 6.2).
