9. MAINTENANCE
Before all maintenance and repair work, switch off the
unit from the power supply and make sure it cannot be
switched on by unauthorised persons.
The switch cabinet must be kept clean. Switch cabinet and
ventilator are to be cleaned if dirty. The filter mats in the fans
must be checked, cleaned and replaced as needed.
Starting with a motor power of 5.5 kW, check the protective
contacts from time to time for burnout and replace in the
event of severe burnout.
The charging status of the real time clock backup battery is
recorded by the installation and signalled as necessary. In
addition, an alteration cycle of 12 months is recommended.
The battery in the CPU assembly is to be replaced for this pur-
pose in accordance with the following illustration.

10.FAULTS, CAUSES AND REMEDIES

10.1 Malfunction display and acknowledgement
In the event that a fault appears, the background colour of the
touchscreen will switch to RED, the collective fault signal will be
activated and the fault will be displayed in Menu 4.2 with error
code number and alarm text. A message is sent to the defined
recipient(s) for systems equipped with remote diagnostics.
An acknowledgement of the fault can be accomplished in
Menu 4.2 with the "RESET" key or via remote diagnosis.
If the cause of the fault was eliminated prior to the acknowl-
edgement, then the background colour of the touchscreen
will switch to GREEN. If the fault is still present, then the back-
ground colour will switch to ORANGE.
A disrupted pump will be marked on the main screen by a
flashing pump symbol.
10.2 History memory for the faults
A history memory has been set up for the switchgear which
functions in accordance with the FIFO principle (First IN First
OUT). Each fault is stored and marked with a time stamp (date/
time of day). The memory is designed for 35 faults.
The alarm list (Menu 4.2.1) can be called up from Menu 4.2 by
means of the "List" key. The signals can be called up within the
list using the keys "+" and "-". Table 1 contains a list of all fault
signals.
