Frequency converter has signalled
faults
Electrical connection disrupted
Motor protection of the frequency
converter has tripped (e.g. short-
circuit of the FC mains power
cable; overload of the connected
pump)
Pressure sensor defective
No electrical connection to the
sensor
The output pressure of the system
has increased to above the value
set in Menu 4.3.2.2 (e.g. due to
control fault)
The output pressure of the system
has dropped below the value set
in Menu 4.3.2.2 (e.g. due to pipe
breakage)
Protection against low-water level
has triggered
Frost protection thermostat has
responded
Thermal winding excess tempera-
ture (WSK/PTC)
Motor protection has tripped
(excess current or short-circuit in
the supply line)
The battery charge has fallen
down to the minimum level; no fur-
ther buffering of the real time clock
is ensured

Remedy
Read faults in Menu 4.3.5 or at the
frequency converter and react in
accordance with the FC installa-
tion and operating instructions
Check connection to the fre-
quency converter and repair as
needed
Check mains power cable and
repair as needed; check pump (in
accordance with Installation and
operating instructions for the
pump)
Replace sensor
Repair electrical connection
Check controller function
Check installation
Check whether the default value is
appropriate to local conditions
Check pipe and repair as needed
Check inlet/break tank; installation
starts up again automatically
Check outside air temperature
Clean cooling fins; motors are
designed for an ambient tempera-
ture of +40°C (see also Installation
and operating instructions for the
pump)
Check pump (in accordance with
Installation and operating instruc-
tions for the pump) and supply line
Replace battery (see Section 9)
