2.2 Specific safety instructions for mounted towel dryers
To avoid putting very young children at risk, it is recommended to
install this appliance in such a way that the lowest heated bar is at
least 60 cm above ground level. "The lowest heated bar" is to be
understood as "the top of the lowest bar that children can grab".
The towel dryer must also be installed in a way that prevents
anyone in the bath or shower from being able to touch the switch.
2.3 Supplementary safety instructions
HOT SURFACES WARNING!
Some parts of the product may become very hot and can
cause burns. Special care should be taken when children and
vulnerable persons are present.
FIRE HAZARDS!
Never use the device close to or below curtains or other com-
bustible materials.
Do not allow flammable materials to come into contact with the
device.
Do not use the device if the power cord or plug is damaged.
Before you continue to use the device, ensure that a new mains
connection cable is installed by an authorised specialist.
Do not open the device housing under any circumstances. If live
connections are touched and/or the electrical and mechanical
structure is modified, this may result in an electric shock!
Before connecting the device, check the electrical connection data
on the nameplate (voltage and frequency) with the electrical speci-
fications of your electrical network. It is important to ensure that the
specifications match to avoid causing any damage to the device.
