Prior to first use always read the safety instruc-
tions!
— Failure to observe the operating instructions and
the safety instructions could result in damage to
the device and danger for the operator and other
persons.
All persons involved in the commissioning, op-
eration and maintenance of the device must be
appropriately qualified.
The safety instructions must not be lost – give
them to the operator.
Danger due to ejected parts

Gloves can get caught in the rotating drive,
which can lead to injuries or fractures of the
fingers.
When using rotating drive sockets and extension
bars, the entanglement/drawing in of rubber or
metal-reinforced gloves can occur easily.
Do not wear loose-fitting gloves or gloves with
cut-off or worn glove fingers.
Never hold the drive, socket or drive extension.
Keep your hands away from the rotating drive.
General safety instructions
Tools must be maintained regularly, to check that
the rated values required from the present part of
ISO 11148 and labels are legible and indicated
on the machine. The employee/user must contact
the manufacturer to obtain replacement identifi-
cation labels as necessary.
Never use a damaged threaded fastener tool.
Use only genuine Würth accessories and
spare parts.

When using the tool, the operator's hands are
exposed to hazards due to crushing, impacts,
cutting, friction and heat. Wear suitable gloves to
protect the hands.
The operators and maintenance personnel must
be physically strong enough to handle the weight
and power of the tool.
Hold the tool correctly: Be ready to counter any
normal or sudden movements - have both hands
ready.
Ensure your body is balanced and that you are
standing securely.
Release the hold-to-run control device to start-up
or stationary in the event of a power supply
outage.
Use only the lubricants recommended by the
manufacturer.
In cases in which aids are necessary to absorb
the reaction torque, it is recommended that a
hanger is used whenever possible. If this is not
possible, side grips are recommended for tools
with a straight grip and machines with a pistol
grip. In all cases, it is recommended that aids are
used to absorb the reaction torque if it is greater
than 4 Nm for tools with a straight grip, greater
than 10 Nm for tools with a pistol grip and
greater than 60 Nm for angle drivers.
Fingers may be crushed in nut wrenches with an
open flat head.
