5.2
Moving the trolley/caddy
i
Important!
The completely filled trolley/caddy is
heavy.
Considerable downhill forces arise on steep
slopes.
5.3
Loading
i
Important!
The completely filled trolley/caddy is
heavy – do not try to lift it on your own.
An empty trolley/caddy can be loaded using grip
hollows K, which can be found near the wheels,
and transport handle J.
5.4
Transporting
During transport, observe the pertinent regulations
for transport and securing loads, in particular:
road traffic (licensing) regulations of the country
concerned
CEN 12195 Parts 1 to 4 for calculation and
lashing
To enable the tank to be fastened to the transport
vehicle by means of suitable tension belts, lay the
tension belts in the integrated recesses on the
tank.
i
Important!
Form before force!
First, try to positively load the filling sta-
tion (e.g. through striking the sides).
Recommendation:
Use a non-slip mat.
5.5
Filling the tank
i
Note
The 60 l caddy includes a scale on its
side for common mixing ratios. Fill the
empty container with concentrate up to
the desired ratio, then fill up to the "max"
mark with water.
1. Lay the trolley/caddy down and unscrew the
cap from filling opening B.
2. Fill the container through the filling opening
using a delivery nozzle with an automatic
shut-off.
3. After filling, seal filling opening B tightly again
using the cap.
4. Contamination of the container caused by the
filling process must be removed immediately
with a dry cloth.
5.6
Filling
The tank can be filled in both the vertical and the
horizontal position (the caddy can only be filled
in the vertical position).
Better total evacuation is achieved when the tank
is in the horizontal position.
Optimal total evacuation is achieved when the
transport handle is raised approx. 20 cm in the
horizontal position.
Important!
Excessive tensile forces on the delivery
hose may cause the trolley/caddy to tip if
it is in the vertical position.
Important!
Material damage to the AdBlue
a result of turning the crank handle in the
wrong direction.
1. Diesel version only:
Open delivery line ball valve M.
2. Open delivery nozzle lock H.
3. To fill, remove delivery nozzle F from delivery
nozzle holder I and insert the delivery spout
fully into the container/tank to be filled.
4. Operate delivery nozzle F (if necessary, lock
with locking device) and carry out the filling
operation.
5. At the same time, crank the pump handle in a
clockwise direction.
Tank ventilation and pressure relief are performed
automatically by integrated valve B. For larger
delivery quantities, filling opening B should also
be opened.
i
Important!
Constantly monitor the filling process.
6. Close delivery nozzle F and allow it to stop
dripping.
7. Wind up delivery hose E, insert delivery noz-
zle F into integrated delivery nozzle holder J
and secure with delivery nozzle lock H.
8. Diesel version only:
Close delivery line ball valve M.
