(4). INSTALLATION
4.1 For opt imum performance t he ext ract or hood should be inst alled
approximat ely 65-75 cm above t he ho
4.2 The hood is supplied w it h screw s and raw lplugs w hich are suit able for
most t ypes of w all and ceiling. How ever it is advisable t o consult a
qualified technician t o ensure t hat t he mat erials are right for your w all or
ceiling. The w all or ceiling must be st rong enough t o support t he w eight of
t he hood.
4.3 Elect rical connect ion: The mains current must mat ch t he current st at ed
on the charact erist ics label situat ed inside t he Hood. If t he plug included is correct , connect t he hood t o a
socket w hich meet s safet y requirement s in an accessible locat ion. If the hood includes a direct mains
connect ion, use a double pole sw itch w it h a minimum dist ance bet w een open cont act s of 3 mm (accessible).

4.5 For w all inst allat ion drill t hree 8 mm holes every 100 mm in line w ith t he hook of t he hood.
4.6 Insert t he raw lplugs.
4.7 Fix t he hook t o t he w all and inst all t he plat e.
4.8 Fix t he one-w ay valve w it h t he screw s supplied, add t he reduct or and t he soot t ube, and draw it
out w ards (see Figure B).
4.9 Place on t he w all (Figure C).
4.10 Calculat e t he final height of t he U-shaped sect ion and pull the inside of t he U-shaped sect ion up t o t he
correct height .
4.11 Secure t he t emplat e in t he low er t ube using t he screw s supplied t o mark out and drill t w o 8 mm holes in
t he w all (Figure D).
4.12 Finally, drill t w o 8 mm holes in a suit able p lace in line w it h t he second plat e (Figure E) and t ight en t he
t w o screw s.
