3.2 Installing the monitor
Disconnect the mains power unit or DIN rail power
supply from the main monitor.
[1]. Fix the additional monitor mounting plate to the wall.
Important: The monitor mounting brackets must come out
towards you.
Note: All the wires must pass inside the mounting bracket so
they can be connected to the monitor.
[2]. Remove the DC connector (5-1) from the rear of
the monitor and connect the cable from the power
plug to this connector: white wire with grey lines
on the right (+) and completely white wire on the
left (-).
If using a DIN rail power supply, connect the cables or the "+"
and "-" power supply terminals to the "+" and "-" terminals on
the monitor connector.
Important: It is essential to use the mains adaptor or DIN
power supply provided to supply the monitor.
[3]. Reconnect the mains adaptor DC connector on the
rear of the monitor to the terminal block 5-1 in the
direction indicated in the illustration (screws toward the
left); the connection direction of the mains adaptor DC
connector wires is important.
Important: Do not connect the mains adaptor to a
socket, or engage the DIN supply until all the wiring is
completed (door station, additional monitor).
[4]. Connect the third connector to the 5-3 terminal. The
corresponding cable (not supplied) shall be connected to the
main monitor:
- M + terminal of the main monitor to M + terminal of
the additional monitor.
- M - terminal of the main monitor to M - terminal of
the additional monitor.
NB: Place the wires in their intended locations to prevent any
risk of them being pulled out.
NB: Mark the wires used for the 5-3 terminal to correctly wire
the additional monitor.
