CONNECTING A DVD PLAYER OR OTHER DIGITAL EQUIPMENT
Switch oft" TV and external equipment before connecting cables. (Cables are not supplied.)
O Connect a DVD Player or other digital equipment's interlaced Component Video Out to
the TV Component Video In (Y-Pb-Pr) Jacks.
_1 Connect the DVD Player's Audio Out to the TV Component LiR Jacks.
_) Press POWER to turn on the TV. Turn on external equipment also.
O Press the INPUT key to select COMPONENT3.
Note: DVD Player component output must be set to Interlaced (480i).

CONNECTING AUDIO OUT JACKS TO A STEREO AMPLIFIER
Switch off TV and external equipment before connecting cables. (Cables are not supplied.)
OConnect the TV Audio Out (R%) to the Stereo Amplifier In (RL).
l_)Press POWER to turn on the TV. Turn on external equipment also.
_)Use the AUDIO OUTPUT on-screen menu options to select Fixed or M_riable output signal.
Notes.'- DO NOT connect external speakers directly to the TV. O
When TV Speakers is in the ON mode, sound will
be produced through your TV and stsereo amplifier.
When TV Speakers is in the OFF mode, sound
will be produced only through the stereo amplifier.
