TO ADJUST THE LASER GUIDE
See Figure 39.
DANGER:
Laser radiation. Avoid direct eye contact with light
source.
WARNING:
Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein can
result in hazardous radiation exposure.
NOTE: Avoid direct eye exposure when using the laser guide.
Use the work clamp or a C-clamp to secure a piece of
scrap tile.
Plug the saw into the power source and make a slight
cut to score the tile.
Turn the saw OFF and allow the saw blade to stop rotat-
ing before raising the wheel.
Raise the motor head.
Unplug the saw.
Open the wheel guard.
Turn on the laser.
To adjust the laser line, loosen the Phillips head screw,
adjust the laser module as needed, and tighten the screw
securely.
Once aligned, close and lock the wheel guard.
NOTE: Always make practice cuts on scrap material before
cutting through your workpiece.
TO ADJUST THE HEAD SCREW
See Figure 40.
The saw head should raise and lower smoothly. If it is too
loose or too tight the head screw will need to be adjusted.
Unplug the saw.
Loosen the wheel guard lock and open the upper wheel
guard.
Use a 5 mm hex key to tighten the head screw as shown.
NOTE: Do not overtighten. Check to make sure the saw
head can move to perform a plunge cut.
Close the upper wheel guard and tighten the wheel guard
lock securely.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement
parts. Use of any other parts can create a hazard
or cause product damage.
