Safety instructions
Only use the rollator if it is in perfect condition and ensure that the rollator is completely unfolded.
Do not use a defective rollator!
The ends of the handles must be parallel to the floor. Check that the wing screws are tight and that the
height is set correctly before using the rollator!
Check the brakes after each height adjustment and make sure that the brake cables are not pinched.
Test the brakes before each use and always use the right and left brakes at the same time to brake!
Pay attention to the wear of the tires! Heavily worn tires can impair the rollator's braking effect. Have da-
maged parts replaced by your specialist dealer.
A rollator is not a wheelchair, but only a walking aid. Don't let yourself be pushed while sitting on the seat
board!
Always sit on the seat with the brakes on!
Always sit slowly on the seat and do not throw yourself against the backrest! Make sure the backrest is
fastened before each use!
Do not sit on the seat if the back belt is not attached or the rollator is at an angle.
The rollator must not be used as a seat in vehicles such as: B. can be used on the train or bus!
Only use the rollator on level surfaces – under no circumstances on stairs or on high edges! To ensure sta-
bility and avoid accidents, all four wheels must always be in contact with the ground during use.
Always hold on to both handles to maintain balance.
The rollator must not be carried on removable parts or brake cables.
Be careful when unfolding and folding the rollator. – There is a risk of pinching!
Do not hang bags on the handles. – There is a risk of tipping over!
Do not overload the rollator (max. luggage load: 5 kg).
Make sure that the loaded bag has an influence on the maneuverability of the rollator and do not walk
backwards when using the rollator!
Maximum user weight is 136 kg.
Do not make any design changes to the rollator that you have not previously discussed with your specialist
dealer or Rehaforum Medical GmbH!
Cleaning and disinfection
The rollator should be cleaned and regularly disinfected after each use. This is essential if the rollator is used/reused
by another person. To clean the product, rinse it with warm water and use a mild soapy solution for cleaning. Dry the
product with a soft cloth and ensure that the bathroom is well ventilated. Disinfection can be carried out using a
commercially available disinfectant. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for use. Do not use abrasive or corrosive
cleaning agents or high-pressure or steam cleaners!
Maintenance
The rollator should be serviced annually by your specialist dealer. The stability of the frame, the strength of the
mountable parts and the tightness of all screws must be checked and repaired if necessary. All screws must be tigh-
tened. Worn, damaged or broken parts must be replaced immediately.
Functional faults:
If you notice a reduction in braking force, sluggishness of the wheels, uneven running of the wheels or other faults
such as rust on the linkage, contact your specialist dealer. Do not use a defective or damaged rollator!
Re-use
The rollator is suitable for reuse. Before passing the product on to another user, it must be checked, cleaned, disin-
fected and serviced by a specialist dealer. If parts of the product are damaged or destroyed, they must be replaced
with new ones. All loosened screws must be tightened. The product must be in perfect condition before it is used
again.
It is forbidden to reuse the product if irreparable damage to the product is detected!
The instructions for use must be handed over with every change of user.
