Using the brakes and parking brakes
1. To activate the parking brake (parking brake),
press the brake levers down. To release this
again, pull the brake levers back up. ALWAYS
use both parking brakes at the same time to
keep the Actimo® Liberty stationary.
Note on parking position: Make sure to park on
a flat, non-slip surface and ensure that the
parking support is engaged before sitting
down. Sit up straight and do not lean back too
much.
2. To brake briefly or to slow down, pull the brake
levers up at the same time so that the Actimo®
Liberty does not turn sideways. Depending on
the speed and condition of the ground, the in-
tensity of the braking force can be adjusted.

key, position it on the
screw and unscrew it.

2. Also loosen the screws
on the other side.
3. Insert the screw into
the pole holder clamp as
shown.
4. Fit the pole holder
clamp and screw the
other side tight as well.
