c) When performing maintenance, installation, or moving operations of the pump, it must
be done with the device disconnected from the power source to prevent people from
suffering even fatal accidents.
d) During the operation of the pump, it should not be moved or displaced.
e) Always check before using the pump that the cable and all electrical devices are
efficient.
f) When starting the pump (by plugging it into the power outlet and/or turning on the
switch), do not do so with bare feet, or even more dangerously, with feet in the water or
with wet hands.
g) The user should not perform operations or interventions not allowed in this manual on
their own initiative.
2.2. IMPORTANT PROTECTIONS AND CARE

In order to prevent any possibility of accidents, peripheral submersible pumps have
been manufactured with all moving parts protected by a casing. Therefore, PYD
Elelectrobombas declines all liability in the event of damage caused by improper handling
of these devices.
All conductors or parts under tension are electrically isolated from the ground; however,
an additional safety measure has been added, consisting of connecting the current-
carrying parts accessible to a grounding conductor, so that these devices are not
hazardous if the main insulation fails.
