5.3. TRANSPORT
For transportation, the pump is packed in a cardboard box and does not present any issues
due to its weight and reduced size. Nevertheless, check the total weight indicated on the box.
6. INSTALATION (de CEE 89/392 p.1.7.4.a; EN 292-2, p.5.5.1.b)
ATTENTION: TO LIFT OR LOWER THE PUMP, USE A ROPE ATTACHED TO THE
RESPECTIVE HOLES, NEVER USE THE POWER SUPPLY ELECTRICAL CABLE FOR THIS
PURPOSE.
In order for the submerged pump's performance and efficiency to last over time, it must be
installed correctly.
6.1. INSTALLATION
a) Check with a tool that the motor is not grounded.
b) The motor is equipped with a 10-meter cable. When splicing the extension of the
electrical cable, pay attention to:
•
the type of cable chosen;
•
that the execution is correct;
•
that the extension cable is of good quality and not damaged.
c) After completing the operation, check that the splice is well made and well insulated,
checking the electrical insulation from phase to ground. Also, at the same time, check with
the tester that the joints and connections are well made.
d) When lowering the pump into the well (with the rope), the modular discharge pipe is
also extended, mounting check valves where necessary (the discharge pipe must have the
same diameter as the pump inlet), and the electrical cable is secured with clamps to this
pipe.
