4.2. UNINTENDED CONDITIONS OF USE
The 4" peripheral submersible pumps are not intended for conveying dirty water, water
mixed with acids or corrosive liquids in general, seawater, flammable liquids, or any other
hazardous liquids. They should never be used in a dry condition.
5. MOVEMENT AND TRANSPORT (de CEE 89/392 p.1.7.4 a; EN

5.1. UNPACKING
Check that the packaging is not too broken or with large dents; if it is, immediately notify
the person in charge of delivery. Then, remove the pump from the box and check that it
has not been damaged in transit; if it has, report it to the distributor within a maximum
period of 8 days from delivery. Also, check on the pump's plate that it has the technical
characteristics you need.
5.2. MOVEMENT AND REMOVAL
ATTENTION: FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE ESTABLISHED GUIDELINES MAY RESULT IN
SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE TO THE PUMP.
DO NOT LIFT AND/OR DRAG THE PUMP USING THE ELECTRICAL CABLE.
THE PUMP MUST ALWAYS BE PLACED AND OPERATE COMPLETELY SUBMERGED IN
WATER.
To move or uninstall the pump, follow these steps:
Unplug it from the power outlet and/or switch off the switch if applicable.
Lift the pump with a safety rope securely attached beforehand and tied to the holes.
As the discharge pipe is removed from the well, remove the clamps holding the electrical
cable and disconnect the various sections of the discharge pipe (or roll them up if they are
plastic pipes).
